PMG Privacy Policy

Overview

PMG is a music discovery and promotion guide. The app shows music information, cover artwork, artist profiles, tags, release information, favorites, recently viewed items, sharing options, login-based account features, and external listening links. PMG does not provide in-app music playback and does not host full music files.

Information We Collect

• Account information: When you create or use a PMG account, we may collect information such as your user ID, email address, display name, profile information, login status, and account settings.
• Local app activity: PMG may store favorites and recently viewed music items on your device so the Library screen can work.
• Account activity: If you are signed in, PMG may associate favorites, viewed items, preferences, or support requests with your account so your experience can be maintained.
• Device and service data: Firebase Remote Config may receive basic technical information needed to deliver configuration values, such as app instance information, device type, app version, and network status.
• Shared content: If you use the Share Music feature, your device share sheet sends the text you choose to the app or service you select.

Information We Do Not Collect

• PMG does not collect passwords, payment card numbers, comments, uploads, or audio recordings.
• PMG does not scan your private music files or play music from your device.

How We Use Information

• To show the app intro page or a configured web page through Firebase Remote Config.
• To create, authenticate, maintain, and support your PMG account.
• To keep your favorites and recently viewed list available on your device.
• To improve app stability, compatibility, and user experience.

Third-Party Services

PMG uses Firebase Remote Config to obtain the PMG configuration value. The app may also open external websites such as Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube through your browser or installed apps. Those third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Local Storage

Favorites and recently viewed items may be stored locally on your device and, when you are signed in, may also be associated with your PMG account. You can remove local data by clearing PMG app data in your device settings or uninstalling the app. You can request account data deletion through the PMG Delete Data page or the official support channel.

Children's Privacy

PMG is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through an external contact channel, please contact us so we can review the request.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect app configuration and local app behavior. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when PMG changes. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
